House of She didn't begin as a house. It began as a single idea, and the honesty to let it grow past it.
We first set out to build a tool that planned a woman's work around her cycle. But the more we listened to women, the clearer one thing became: anything that told a woman what she couldn't do on a given day was the opposite of what we believed. A woman's body creates life. The intelligence that makes that possible is a source of information and possibility, never a limitation.
So we stopped trying to fix the woman. We began building the house around her.
What survived, and what everything since is built on, was the belief underneath: founder-led, feminine-rooted, built with women rather than handed to them. The rest of the house is being drawn one voice at a time.
